These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the GEOSPATIAL NETWORK UGANDA web mapping service operated by NAS SURVEYORS LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering, logging in, or using the platform—including associated storage for valuation comparables—you agree to these Terms and our Privacy & Data Protection Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The platform is offered to professional users who can lawfully enter into binding obligations. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Subscription activation and role verification (including valuer and cadastral-related roles) may require separate approval by our administrators.
To request closure of your account and deletion of personal data, contact us through the in-platform assistant where available, or by email or telephone listed below. We may verify your identity before processing a request.
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy & Data Protection Notice, which aligns with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, including principles of lawfulness, necessity, transparency, security, and data-subject rights under Section 16 of the Act where they apply.
You retain ownership of professional content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, encrypt, back up, display to you, and otherwise process that content solely to operate and secure the platform.
Where your uploads contain personal data about third parties (for example property owners named in comparables), you represent and warrant that:
You understand that public or shared map layers must not be used to disclose owner phone numbers, ID numbers, or similar data unless a future feature expressly documents lawful publication and you comply with it.

We may investigate reports of inaccurate, unlawful, or excessively intrusive data. Where appropriate we may remove or restrict content, suspend accounts, or cooperate with regulators or law enforcement when legally required. We are not a court and cannot adjudicate property disputes; users remain responsible for professional verification of boundaries, values, and ownership facts.
The platform and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Cadastral depictions, valuations, and comparables supplied by users are not verified by us for legal accuracy. You must perform independent checks before relying on data in legal, financial, or administrative proceedings.
Optional assistant tools provide general information only and are not legal or surveying advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, NAS SURVEYORS LTD and GEOSPATIAL NETWORK UGANDA (including their directors, staff, and contractors) are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform or reliance on user-generated content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Consumers and professionals with mandatory statutory protections retain those protections.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NAS SURVEYORS LTD, GEOSPATIAL NETWORK UGANDA, and their personnel against claims, losses, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breaches of these Terms, your unlawful processing of personal data, or your violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct as finally determined by a competent authority.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Courts of Uganda shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer or professional protections.

We may amend these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use after update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where the law permits.
